ACADEMY NDT NON-DESTRUCTİVE TESTING and ENGINEERING SERVICES LTD. CO. prioritizes your security and, in this context, we would like to inform you about the "Personal Data Protection Law," which is enacted to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, and to ensure the protection of personal data.


The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu – KVKK, hereafter referred to as “Law” or “PDPL”) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and has come into force. The Law aims to regulate the processing of personal data to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, and to determine the obligations of real and legal persons processing personal data and the principles and procedures they will comply with. Therefore, this document explains the obligations arising from Article 10 of the Law on behalf of ACADEMY NDT NON-DESTRUCTİVE TESTING and ENGINEERING SERVICES LTD. CO. and provides "Personal Data Protection and Personal Data Sharing Permission" for the information and review of Users/Visitors. With full awareness of this responsibility, as defined in the Law as the "Data Controller," we process your personal data in accordance with the procedures and principles explained below and within the limits imposed by the legislation. The collected personal data will be processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law to carry out the necessary work to benefit you from the products and services offered by our company and our Group Companies, to customize the products and services offered by our company and Group Companies according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs, to ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals in business relationships with our company, to determine and implement the commercial and business strategies of our company, and to ensure the implementation of our company's human resources policies.

Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, Group Companies, company officials, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

Your personal data is acquired for the purpose of providing the products and services offered by our company within the legal framework, and for our company to fulfill its responsibilities arising from contracts and the law completely and accurately. Generally, processing personal data without the explicit consent of the relevant person is not possible. However, it may be possible to process personal data without the explicit consent of the person if one of the following conditions exists: "necessity for the processing of personal data belonging to the parties to the contract, directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract," "necessity for the establishment, use, or protection of a right," "mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation," "personal data has been made public by the data subject," "processing of personal data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject," and/or "required by law."

Your personal and/or special personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through our website, sales and marketing department employees, forms collected during customer visits, digital marketing, and call center/website/social media/organizers/business partners, and through all kinds of channels, not limited to these. Additionally, personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through channels such as the General Management, retail sales points, kiosks, internet branch, social media, and call centers.

In accordance with the provisions of the law, "Personal data processed before the date of publication of this Law will be brought into compliance with this Law within two years from the date of publication. However, consents obtained legally before the date of publication of the Law are deemed to be in compliance with this Law if no contrary declaration is made within one year." With regard to personal and/or special personal data obtained and processed before the publication of the Law, there is "your legal consent" given to us. In accordance with the law, these consents are deemed to be in compliance with this Law if no contrary declaration is made within one year.

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, your rights are as follows;
By applying to our company, you have the right to:
a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b) Request information if your personal data has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically/internationally,
d) Request correction if it is incomplete/incorrectly processed,
e) Request deletion/destruction within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of the Law,
f) Request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, in accordance with paragraphs (d) and (e),
g) Object to the occurrence of a result against you due to it being analyzed exclusively by automated systems,
ğ) Demand compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the illegal processing of personal data.
These rights came into effect as of October 7, 2016.
