Regarding non-destructive testing practices for periodic checks in the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment;

"2.1.3. Periodic checks of pressure vessels and installations are carried out by mechanical engineers, technical teachers graduated from the mechanical or metal education department, or mechanical technicians or high technicians. In case non-destructive testing methods are used in such periodic checks, these methods could only be practiced by engineers, technical teachers, technicians or higher technicians who have been trained in accordance with TS EN ISO 9712 standard."

"2.2.2. Periodic checks of lifting and conveying equipment are carried out by mechanical engineers, technical teachers graduated from the mechanical or metal education department, or mechanical technicians or high technicians. In case non-destructive testing methods are used in such periodic checks, these methods could only be practiced by engineers, technical teachers, technicians or higher technicians who have been trained in accordance with TS EN ISO 9712 standard."
